How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Let it out. Acknowledge doubts you have and surrender your uncertainty to a trustworthy God who works in ways beyond our understanding.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Move beyond unsolvable mysteries by choosing to believe anyway even when God doesn’t make sense. It’s okay to be confused but still committed nonetheless.
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God.
People and circumstances are never your true enemy. If you misidentify your enemy or deny that you even have one, you will lose the battle before it begins.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Don’t let him beat you down without resistance. Learn to identify and fight back against his schemes. Recognize his deceit. Reject the lies. Replace them with God’s truth.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.
1 Peter 5:8-9
God can either be a celebrity you only know about, or He can be the One you know more intimately than anyone else. He goes before, behind, and beside you in every battle you face.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

The path to your greatest victory lies in an unconditional surrender to your unbeatable God. Relinquish your desire to direct what you can’t control anyway. God is much better at being God than you are anyway. Stop being a backseat driver.

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.

Jesus offers a victorious life with your name on it. But you have to get up and claim it.
Stand firm, and you will win life.
